Training and Events
Advocating in our world is what we do. Before we can organize in our community, we must become organized ourselves. The members of CFILC collaborate together to help put on a number of trainings and events throughout the year. Our trainings are informative and empowering, and our events can be fun and make a direct impact to those around us.

YO! Disabled and Proud has launched a yearlong youth-led interview project collecting stories and memories of Ed Roberts' legacy from Disabled elders. Join our volunteers for this exciting project!
YO! Disabled and Proud wants to know:
• Are you a youth (ages 16-28) who wants to become involved in the disability rights movement?
• Would you be interested in interviewing an elder in the disability community for stories and memories of Ed Roberts as part of our 2021 oral history project?
Get involved! Send us your name and age and let us know if you want to be an interviewer via email to email@example.com
We will be sharing stories collected as part of a Disability History Archive, and they will released on Ed Roberts Day 2022 across our social media channels!
