Inae Mendoza

Ability Tools Information and Assistance Specialist

Inae Mendoza joined the California Foundation for Independent Living Centers (CFILC) in October 2022 as an Information and Advocacy Specialist. In this role, she supports individuals connecting with the Ability Tools (AT) program by helping them navigate and access assistive technology that supports independent living. With a background in education and a strong commitment to service, Inae is dedicated to helping communities access tools and information that support choice and independence. She believes that when everyone has access and opportunity, society becomes stronger for all.

Inae holds an associate degree in Sociology from Cosumnes River College and earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Chicanx Studies from Sacramento State University.

When she’s not at work, Inae enjoys spending time with her family and friends—and hanging out with her beloved dog, Osa, and her cat, Felix.
