2018 Independent Living Conference: Collaboration & Solidarity
June 6, 2018 • Sacramento, CA
There is no better time than now to build and cultivate our disability community partnerships. The goal of this year's conference is to cultivate our relationships and build on our solidarity. Local, regional, statewide and national organizations who are focused, proactive and looking for ways to make positive change in collaboration with Independent Living Centers are encouraged to submit a conference proposal.
Seeking Workshops Proposal for the Following Tracks
Please consider submitting a brief workshop proposal. Multiple presenters and panel presentations are welcome. Workshop length: 75 minutes.
- Long-Term Services & Support
- Youth Transition
- Emergency Readiness & Recovery
- Effective Systems Change/Community Organizing Campaigns

Workshop proposals are due by March 12, 2018, at 5:00pm.
CFILC will contact all workshop proposers by Friday, April 13. Successful proposers will receive information regarding next steps. Please remember that each presenter needs to register for the conference individually.
Presenters are not exempt from registration fees. Presenters must register to attend the conference at the "Presenter Rate." If you are a presenter and only attend the conference during your presentation you do not need to pay.
